This seven-session course covers the foundations of self taped auditions from understanding the basics of lighting, sound, and framing to breaking down and analyzing scenes from 2 lines to many pages. Central to the class, is learning how casting directors and production view our work.

The Voice is one of your most versatile actor's tools and learning to manipulate it is central to building your actor's tool box. The techniques in this class can be applied to on-camera character creation but we use animation and video game characters to explore how to create rich vocal characterizations. Tuesdays 7-9PM

Over seven sessions, you'll learn the art and business of voice acting for advertising and narration by exploring five types of copy: soft sell, hard sell, narration, and 2-person and solo conversational. You'll record at home each week and submit work for critique. No home studio required.

Monologues show what you can do if you have all the time you need to prepare your work. In this class, we use a database of over 400 monologues compiled by the instructor to find the right one for you then we work together to build and stage the monologue for a cinematic or stage delivery.
