Okay, so this was the slew of posts for one of the heavy posting days. Take note of a couple of things:

1.)   Any links have the prefix        http://www.facebook.com/l/;        added to them so that they route through facebook.  To link without dealing with the facebook crap, cut and paste what comes after it into your browser.  Sure, I could have cut out all that additional text before pasting but... I have more important things to do (see point 4)

2.)   Ditto the above for e-mail addresses as well...  delete all of      http://www.facebook.com/l/;       whether it is in the front, middle, or at the end.  Pain in the ass, no?  (again, see point 4)

3.)   Many of these jobs are non-paying films that sound dubious - what, Keith, should I do?  Well, use yoru best judgement but remember, when getting started you should be focusing on DOING the acting thing before you worry about getting PAID to do the acting thing.  Fall in love with a project you want to be a part of, work on the goal that is larger than yourself, become part of a collaborative effort... you will gain new insight into how it is not and is never about you... it is about the larger picture.  That said... if it is a long way from you, you disagree with the subject matter, or it just sounds... well, like the people just don't have their shit together... you should think twice perhaps... use your judgement and, above all, your INSTINCTS.  Sure, I could weed out the more ridiculous posts or the ones that would probably be a waste of time but.... see post 4.

4.)  Anyone else on Facebook want to do this instead of me?  You can edit out all those   http://www.facebook.com/l/;       inserts and opt not to post the topics from too far away, and all the other stuff I do not have the time to do.   If someone is looking to volunteer, let me know.  I don't want to do it.  I just do, now, because I want to get the ball rolling.

Keith

I noticed that the VA Actor's forum on facebook, is promoting a political event rally. In my strong opinion, the Virginia Actor's Forum is not the proper place for such things. I realize a lot of actors read the notices, but to promote political causes, has nothing to do with acting.  Roll Eyes Just my 2 cents worth.

I saw the post on Facebook, and it looked like it came from The VAF. I will try and find it for you and post it here or to your email.
