FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LIFETIME MOVIE NEEDS YOU

Wednesday, September 1, 2010 -- A movie for Lifetime Network is filming in the Richmond area and needs extras of all sizes, shapes and ages.
...
Sports fan? Are you the football referee, coach, linesman or water boy? That's what we're looking for. We’re also looking for nurses, office workers, construction workers & vehicle drivers. For those whose talents are less than physical, people who can simply walk down the street, yell at a football game or drink a cup of coffee are needed, as well. Plan on having a great time being part of the making of a movie.

All applicants should bring a recent, non-returnable snapshot of themselves and a pen.

The movie is currently scheduled to air on Lifetime this Thanksgiving.

The extras casting will take place this Saturday, Sept. 4th in Richmond. Please contact billy@uptowntalent.com if you are interested in attending and you will get specific times and location.

757-474-1338 is the house phone in case anyone gets lost along the way.

FROM THE  PRODUCER
Ms. Hutson, my name is Gayle Schultz a local writer and creative talent (translated to sometimes I like to do stand -up comedy).

Currently I am in pre-production of my first indie short "El REGALO DE GRACIELA" (graciella's gift). We plan to shoot this September 2010.

After holding a couple auditions we are still in need of a few principal members...I noticed that you do have Hispanic/Latino talent and was wondering if you had anyone interested in auditioning.

There is no compensation for the film just a good opportunity to be seen on film in a principal role, receive screencredit, imdb listing, and a DVD copy of their work of course.

I have attached a synopsis for you as well as the cast list (we already have Graciella cast, and the Priest...possible an ester)

Thank you for any assistance

All the best and continued success

Gayle Lynn Schultz
Producer

GRACIELLA'S REGALO (Gracie's gift)

                                 Synopsis

Taken from an old Hispanic folk tale handed down for generations...The story is a simple one that covers faith, humility, love and grace. As 6 year old Graciella Flores prepares for her first Christmas celebration she is troubled that she does not have a gift to worship Jesus with...her grandmother tells her any humble gift from the heart in love will be accepted...uncomforted by Abuela's response she searches for a gift and finds some flowered weeds by the side of the road...continually mocked by her unbelieving teenage sister...Graciella is still embarrassed by its simplicity...but as she presents herself before the Lord her gift seems to be miraculously accepted...when it blossoms into something beautiful.

Logline: A poor little girl finds out that even her humble gift is more than accepted by God.

As the comments in this website clearly indicate, he is known to be an ACTOR'S DIRECTOR.  Prior to becoming a full-time screen director in 1988, he had been a working actor for 15 years.

He had a recurring role on the #1 rated daytime serial, GENERAL HOSPITAL on and off for 13 years.  He also had a one year recurring role on DAYS OF OUR LIVES, as well as principal roles on other soaps including YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS.

In the late 70's and 80's he Starred or Guest Starred on many prime-time TV series such as CHIPS (NBC), JAMES AT 16 (NBC), THE HARDY BOYS (ABC), PROJECT UFO (NBC), WHAT'S HAPPENING! (ABC), and too many more to mention here.

He also starred in hundreds of national TV commercials including McDONALDS, HONDA, COKE, COPPERTONE, BURGER KING, KODAK, SEVEN-UP, and PETER PAN PEANUT BUTTER, to name but only a few.

He had starring roles in numerous feature films, Movies for Television, and over 70 live stage productions including MAME, APPLAUSE, and YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN, in New York, as well as many national tours.

Prior to becoming a director, Tom was also one of the top dialogue coaches and acting instructors in Los Angeles.  His clients included top stars from all three major networks as well as film stars, Academy Award Nominees, top baseball and football players, rock stars, and other well-known personalities.  He has won top industry awards for his work as an acting instructor for the studios.

He headed the TV/Film & Commercial acting departments in Los Angeles at the two most prestigious schools known internationally - THE AMERICAN FILM INSTITUTE (1981 - 88) and the AMERICAN ACADEMY OF DRAMATIC ARTS, West (1980 - 87).

Tom has published four books in the marketplace. His latest books, HOW TO ACT AND EAT AT THE SAME TIME, the sequel, and ACTING IN THE MILLION DOLLAR MINUTE, the sequel, can be found in bookstores worldwide and are required reading in hundreds of Universities and acting schools worldwide.

Tom was born in Shreveport, Louisiana and attended the University of Arkansas for two years before graduating with a B.A. Degree (Cum Laude, Honor Roll, Dean's List) from California State University, Northridge
