Mark Zillges

Acting Instructor: Improvisation and Acting  

Shortly after graduating from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with a BS in Theatre Arts, Mark moved with his wife to Norfolk, Virginia. Together they worked with a touring theatre called Inter-mission. In 1991, Mark started taking acting classes with Sylvia Harmon at The actor’s Place. Mark has become a regular actor on the Regent University stage over the past 22 years and has appeared in many Portfolio Award winning plays. In 1997, he graduated with an MA from Regent University in Acting and Directing for Cinema. He has appeared in at least 15 student films and directed several small film and video projects. In 2007, he graduated with an MFA in Acting, also from Regent University. Mark continues to work on the Regent stage when he gets a chance and is currently in the process of starting his own theatre company. Mark is also involved in several You-Tube projects slated for later this year.
Mark is passionate about the craft of acting and loves to share that passion with others. Mark is an adjunct professor at Regent University. Has taught work-shops on acting and Improv.
